Lions Tasmania District Governor for 2024-25, Victoria Cochrane.

The new International President Fabricio Oliviera, from the Catolé do Rocha Lions Club in Brazil is asking all Lions to make their mark, “What does it mean to Make Your Mark? It means stepping up in our clubs and our communities and changing lives. It means amplifying the voices that may go unheard. It means showing the world that Lions care and we are here to stay.”

New Lions Tasmania District Governor is Victoria Cochrane from the Lions Club of Rocky Cape. Each District Governor prepares for the role in previous years by serving as Vice-District Governor and completing Lions International Training.

The new Executive for the Tasmanian Online Lions Club for 2024-2025 is Marg Cranney President, Nicky Rouleston Vice President, Julie Triffett Secretary and Pat Gillhespey, Treasurer.

Our Club goals for 2024-2025 are to continue supporting other Lions Clubs when they need additional volunteers and to progress our 4 signature activities which are our Safe Families Video Project, Affordable Housing Project, Supporting Disaster Relief and Community Movies Project.

We look forward to another cracking year of laughter, friendship and making our mark and making a difference in our communities and in Lions Tasmania. Our Tassie Online Lions Club position statement or motto is - Together Our Lives Change: Kindness, Connection, Community.

If you would like to join us, we’d love to have chat, so please contact either Julie Triffett on 0488 163 025 or Marg Cranney on 0402 039 856.
