Boot scooters snap up state export honour
SINCE its inception, Scoot Boot has been a leader in the hoof boot industry with its cutting-edge designs for horses. In the several years since Scoot Boot’s launch, the Scoot Boot has become the boot of choice for many riders.
The win announced at the TasICT gala dinner hosted at Blundstone Arena last week, comes after the company was awarded the Australian Trade and Investment Commission National E-Commerce Exporter of the Year late last year.
Accepting the award on Friday night, Scoot Boot co-founder Annette Kaitinis, said she gave full credit to the Cambridge-based team who now exports to 110 countries worldwide.
“We’re honoured to receive this prestigious export award, which recognises our commitment to innovation in the global market,” Ms Kaitinis said.
“This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team, as well as the trust and support of our manufacturer,” she said.
“We are dedicated to delivering high-quality products with the welfare of horses as paramount to everything we do. This award inspires us as we further scale the business locally and globally.”
The award was presented by Business, Industry and Resources Minister Eric Abetz.
TasICT president David Mills said on the night the awards this year had record level entries of more than 60 and a full-house in attendance.
Ms Kaitinis thanked Mr Mills and the TasICT committee and the sponsors and business enablers who had supported Scoot Boot over the years including Austrade, AusIndustry, IP Australia, TCCI, TasICT, ISW and Small Business and Consumer Affairs Minister Madeleine Ogilvie.
