McQueeney elected to Tasman Council

Steve McQueeney has been elected to the Tasman Council in a bi-election following the resignation of Councillor Jim Sharman.

Mr McQueeney was elected with 59.02% of the two-candidate final vote, defeating Vince Ibister with 40.98%.

Mc McQueeney secured 811 primary votes, followed by Mr Ibister with 573, Grant Walter 422 and Ben Jones 214.
