TASMANIA'S rodeo season is in full swing and next month all the action will head to the state’s south.
The Runnymead Rodeo will be held on December 14 at Old Mil, 4358 Tasman Highway, Runnymede.
The rodeo was originally planned for tomorrow (Saturday, 30th November), but event organisers were forced to postpone due to forecast thunderstorms.
The rodeo program will get underway at 3pm and competitors will be vying for major cash prizes including $1200 for the winner of each open event.
Visitors are advised that the rodeo will be a cash only event and there will be no BYO alcohol or dogs allowed.
Camping will be available.
After the rodeo action is finished the live band the Smokin Elmores will play until late.
The next event on the calendar will be the St Helens rodeo to be held on January 4 at Pyengana.
That will be followed by the Harveydale rodeo on January 18 near Westbury and the Ulverstone rodeo on February 1.
